Our business model
In the interest of full transparency, and consistent with U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidance on honest advertising and material connections, we want you to understand exactly how Curvelle operates.
Curvelle does not manufacture the products we sell. We are a curated dropship retailer: we select, vet and present a tight edit of premium plus-size and curvy companion products, and when you place an order, the product is fulfilled and shipped to you directly by the manufacturer or their US-based warehouse partner. Our partners currently include Real Lady, Irontech, WM Doll and SexDollTorso.
How we make money
Curvelle earns revenue from the margin between the price you pay and the wholesale cost charged by our manufacturer partners. In some cases we may also earn affiliate or referral compensation. This is how we fund the business — the editorial content, customer support, curation and the site itself. You do not pay more for this transparency; our prices are set to be competitive within the mid-to-premium segment.
What this means for you
- Fulfillment: your order ships from a manufacturer partner's US warehouse, typically in 5–7 business days, in plain discreet packaging.
- Curation: we choose what to list. We do not list every product a partner offers — only those that meet our standards for quality, materials and our body-positive, adults-only ethos.
- Honesty: product specifications are provided by manufacturers; we present them accurately and will correct any error we become aware of.
Editorial independence
Our guides and journal articles are written to genuinely help you buy well — including telling you when a less expensive option is the smarter choice for your needs. A material connection (we sell these products) exists between Curvelle and the items we recommend, and we disclose it here clearly so you can weigh our recommendations accordingly.
